چکیده
In medical image segmentation, the neural network structure of U-Net family has demonstrated sufficient advantages. However, MRI images have different scan parameters and times, resulting in feature representation images. Furthermore, there is a great class imbalance between bone cartilage tissues knee To address these issues, region-based two-stage tissue segmentation proposed this paper. The makes full use location characteristics three types joint uses architecture with modified U2-Net backbone to segment tissue. divided into two phases, first phase simple coded decoding for saliency detection obtain positional regional relationships tissues, second consisting 2 U2-Net, one segmenting patella associated other femur, tibia cartilage. algorithm was tested variety data verify effectiveness algorithm.

Automatic MRI Bone Segmentation
Automatically segmenting bone tissue in MRI scans requires robustness against poor signal-to-noise ratios, highly inconsistent lighting conditions, and variability within bone tissues. Because of these difficulties, very little literature exists on automatic MRI bone segmentation. Current state-of-the-art methods are either semi-automatic or rely on databases of prior manual segmentations. Here...
متن کاملModel Based Segmentation of Clinical Knee MRI
A method for model based segmentation of 3D Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans of the human knee is presented. A probabilistic model describing the spatial relationships between features of the human knee is constructed from 3D manually segmented data. In conjunction with feature detection techniques from low-level computer vision, this model is used to segment knee MRI scans in a Bayesian

Diagnostic imaging is a principal method of analysis in modern medicine. Doctors and other medical professionals gain invaluable information about their patients through medical scans such as X-Rays, computed tomography (CT) cans, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). With this visual information, medical practitioners diagnose and monitor the health of their patients, and medical researchers g...
متن کاملCo-relation of Mri and Arthroscopy in Soft Tissue Injuries of Knee Joint
Introduction: Knee is most frequently injured joints among because of its anatomical structure and its exposure to external forces and the functional demands placed on it. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) helped in the diagnosis of intra articular soft tissue injury without arthroscopy. Advantages over MRI are non-invasive, minimal patient discomfort and easy visibility of posterior cruciate li...
متن کاملMRI cartilage of the knee: segmentation, analysis, and visualization
J. Carballido-Gamio, K. Lee, E. Ozhinsky, S. Majumdar University of California, San Francisco, San Francisco, California, United States Introduction. A common manifestation of osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee is the morphological degeneration of articular cartilage. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) offers the potential to visualize and analyze quantitatively those changes in vivo. The common pro...
